The annual Traverse Williams Academic Awards began in 1989 in honor of Mr. Traverse Williams, a greatly respected educator who served in Walkerville Public Schools for 26 years.

To be eligible for award consideration, students must carry at least six solid subjects and obtain a 3.25 GPA (B+) or above in every subject for both semesters, 2024-2025 school year.

On May 7, our Academic Awards Banquet was held, with Mr. Conkle serving as the emcee and Mr. Parker Kirwin, the guest speaker.
